Creating Brighter Futures

Support the Literacy Task Force

The Literacy Task Force is a nonprofit organization and relies solely upon donations to support literacy needs in north central Wisconsin.

Donations are used for two purposes:

  1. To support full and partial scholarships (as needed) for individuals to enroll in our literacy training course(s). Tutors learn how to teach children and adults who have severe difficulties in reading, writing, and spelling.
  2. To purchase research-based resource materials on reading, writing, and spelling for tutors and parents. These materials are housed at the Minocqua Public Library and may be checked out.
