I have often thought to myself, there must be a way to reach these lost learners. It was a true blessing that I happened upon this course focusing on a multisensory structured language approach. This course is the hope I have been searching for over the last 18 years." (2009 Literacy Training Participant)
More comments from tutor trainees: "My goal is to help every student I work with become the best reader and writer they can be. Thank you for giving me the tools I need to achieve this goal." "I found this class to be worth the time and cost, two fold, and would highly recommend it to all special education and regular classroom teachers." "Even though the students thank me, it is I who must thank them." "It's as if my teaching and tutoring them is a calling to a greater purpose. I have found it to be an honor, pleasure, and privilege to serve this greater purpose -- the purpose of teaching and tutoring for literacy." "Anyone who teaches reading would benefit. It is a wonderful way to teach reading, in and out of the classroom." "The more teachers are aware of specific interventions for struggling readers, the better." "I would definitely recommend this to others, especially to primary teachers. It's great for teaching our kids to learn and use the language - it takes the mystery out of it." "Everything and everyone involved with this training was first class! Thank you! The wealth of knowledge shared was amazing!"
